Introduction: Can Truth Be Hidden?

Many claim that their religious book is the only absolute truth, without error. However, if sacred texts have passed through the hands of many people, how can we be sure they remain untouched?

If the Creator sent the truth, but humans transcribed and interpreted it, is it not possible that they altered it over time, adding their interpretations and using it for control?

📜 Kolbrin (SOF:15:15) clearly warns:

"Human works are imperfect, and no man has ever seen the Light of Truth in absolute purity. Therefore, if two things within our written records appear contradictory, if they cannot be reconciled through greater understanding, what is written later, unless it is an obvious error, should be considered more acceptable."

📜 Oahspe (34/9.8-9) adds an even clearer warning:

"I have given you many sacred books, and I told you: unless you judge (examine) them, you will be caught in a trap..."

This means that God does not give just one book, and that critical examination is essential for discovering the truth.

1. All Religious Books Have Passed Through Human Hands

📜 Kolbrin (SVB:1:1) states:

"No matter how pure the original inspiration poured out from the Divine Spiritual Fountainhead, they still have to pass through fallible human hands. This could lead to differences of interpretation and discord among the readers."

📜 The Qur'an confirms this principle (Al-Hajj 22:52-53):

*"Whenever a prophet expressed hope, Satan would insert something into his speech. But Allah will remove what Satan inserts and confirm His revelation.

And He will make what Satan inserts a trial for those whose hearts are diseased and hardened."*

📜 Surah Ar-Ra’d (13:17) adds:

"Falsehood is like foam on water – it disappears, while the truth remains."

🔎 What does this mean?

God can send the truth, but humans (or Satan) can add falsehood to texts.

Thus, the truth must be purified – using reason, investigation, and comparison of texts.

If we do not apply critical thinking, we may believe in human fabrications, thinking they are divine.

📜 Oahspe (31/3.23):

"The Father even allows angels of darkness to appear before men to confuse them in their disbelief and to frighten them in their unjust behavior."

🔹 Conclusion:

A sacred book may contain truth, but that does not mean everything in it is absolute truth.

Falsehood can persist for a while, but it is impossible for it to withstand critical examination and logical analysis.

2. Universal Rules of Logic and Reason

📜 Kolbrin (SVB:1:2) establishes a rule:

"Interpretation must conform to authentic traditions. It must accord with reason and experience, for faith should never be in conflict with reason."

📜 Oahspe confirms this:

"There are people who claim to know the will of the Creator, but their claims are often the product of human illusions and passions. Truth is always accessible to those who seek the light with a pure heart and reason."

🔎 If someone claims to know the will of the Creator, but their claim has no logical basis, then it is very likely the product of human dogmas, not divine insight.

3. Faith and Reason – The Boundary Where the Unknown Begins

There are three categories of truth:

1️⃣ What we can prove

Natural laws, mathematics, historical events – these do not require faith because they are verifiable.

2️⃣ What we cannot prove but is rational

The existence of the Creator, moral laws, cosmic order – these can be analyzed but not empirically proven.

3️⃣ What is supernatural – where faith begins

Miracles (walking on water, parting the sea, resurrection of the dead) may be symbolic, but if taken literally, they must be accepted purely by faith, as there is no empirical proof.

📜 Kolbrin (SVB:1:3-4) states:

"Beyond worldly experiences, there are spiritual experiences that are not accessible to everyone. Those unwilling to devote themselves to these must accept them by faith, but this does not mean that faith can be in conflict with reason."

Thus, what we cannot explain should not contradict reason. If it does – it indicates human error.

4. The Problem of Blind Faith

Many religious people reject logic when it does not suit them but use it when criticizing other religions.

  • Muslims reject the Trinity because it is illogical.
  • Christians reject Islam because they find the Qur'an inconsistent.
  • Jews reject both because they believe they are not the correct revelation of the Torah.

❌ Every religion uses reason to discredit others but demands blind faith for its own claims. This is hypocrisy.

📜 Kolbrin (SVB:1:4) states:

"All differences in opinion must be resolved through reason, and if an interpretation is to be accepted, a rational explanation must be found."

🔹 Conclusion:

If someone demands blind faith without explanation, their claim loses its foundation.

5. Deep Analysis of Surah Ar-Ra’d (13:17) – The Symbolism of Rain and the Purification of Truth

🔹 Rain symbolizes pure revelation, but different people receive it in different ways.

🔹 The flood carries dirt – just as revelation can be distorted by human interpretations and additions.

🔹 Only what passes the test of reason and logic remains as pure truth.

📜 Oahspe (33/13.7):

"All things are from the Creator, whether directly or indirectly; all that is good in them is my delight."

📜 Kolbrin (SVB:1:2):

"Faith should never be in conflict with reason, although there are things that cannot be explained logically and must be accepted. However, what can be understood must be investigated and rationally confirmed."

🔹 Conclusion:

  • God has sent the truth, but it may be mixed with human additions.
  • Only through analysis and investigation can we recognize what is truly from the Creator.
  • Blind faith in a text without examination leads to deception.

Conclusion: Truth Must Be Purified

✅ Surah Ar-Ra’d (13:17) uses natural metaphors to explain how truth and falsehood separate.

✅ The Qur’an, Kolbrin, and Oahspe all agree that falsehood can be inserted into revelation, but truth ultimately prevails.

✅ We must use reason to recognize what is divine and what is human manipulation.

✅ One should never blindly believe any text – truth must be identified through analysis and comparison.

📌 Next Step:

Now that we know that sacred books are a mixture of truth and human additions, the next question is:

➡ Which parts of religious texts are original, and which were added later?

➡ Can we reconstruct the original Divine message using logic and text comparison?

If you’re ready, let’s move forward! 🚀
